How a made-to-order piece reaches you
1. Cut and carve
Your order goes to our partner artisan workshop within a day or two. Craftsmen select the boards and shape your piece by hand over 7-10 days.
2. Approve the photos
Before any finish goes on, we email photos of your actual piece. Confirm it, or ask for adjustments.
3. Finish and deliver
The piece is oiled or lacquered, crated and shipped with tracking – about 3-4 weeks from order to door.

Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished again and again. Light scratches disappear with a little oil; nothing peels or swells the way veneer does.
Every piece is one of a kind
Grain, knots and live edges come from the tree itself, so no two tables or shelves are identical. Small natural variations are part of the character.
You see it before it ships
We photograph your actual piece before finishing and wait for your approval. If anything arrives damaged, we repair, replace or refund it.

How long does a wood furniture order take?
About 3-4 weeks door to door: 7-10 days of carving, your photo approval, about a week of finishing, then 3-7 business days in transit.
Where is the furniture made?
Each piece is handcrafted to order by our partner artisan workshops in Vietnam and China and shipped directly to you with tracking.
Can I cancel a wood order?
Yes, within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After you approve the finishing photos the piece is final sale for change of mind, but anything that arrives damaged is repaired, replaced or refunded.
Do you ship outside the contiguous U.S.?
Wood furniture ships to the contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii or international delivery, email support@pineswampplace.com for a quote first.
